Olympic gold medalist and victorious Cambridge Blue, Tom James has been confirmed as this year’s guest speaker for the forthcoming Men’s Dinner (4th Dec).
Tom will surely provide us with great insight into top-level rowing, having recently returned from Beijing with gold in the men’s coxless fours. Tom has great experience of eights racing also, having stroked the GB men’s heavyweight eight at previous World Championships. He has also competed in The Boat Race on four occasions, and won on his last attempt in 2007 when he was president of CUBC.
We look forward to the privilege of meeting such a talented oarsman and have him speak at our annual dinner.
